Forest Home Traffic Calming Plan Update (STREETS ’27)

STREETS ’27 is a multi-year project involving the residents of Forest Home, the Town of Ithaca, Cornell University, Tompkins County, and other stakeholders. The purpose is to improve the quality of life in Forest Home by:

Progress To Date

Consulting engineers Fisher Associates, D.P.C. have visited Forest Home and met with Forest Home Improvement Association representatives, Town of Ithaca, Ithaca-Tompkins County Transportation Council, and Cornell University Planning and Community Relations staff.  The knowledge gained from their time in Ithaca — along with extensive background research and transportation design expertise — will inform the development of the plan. 

What Happens Next?

The Town will periodically update this website with information, and there are a few different methods you can use to monitor this or any other website. With Google Alerts, you can enter the URL of the website you want to monitor and then choose how often you want to receive updates. Google Alerts will then send you an email whenever it detects new content on the website. Another option is to use a web-based RSS reader like Feedly. With this method, you simply add the RSS feed of the website you want to monitor to your Feedly account.
